You can also see all of the events with event flyers posted (once the event is confirmed) by going to the VRCS EVENTS Main Menu Tab above. There you will see the confirmed and yet to be confirmed event dates.
If you and your local club are interested in creating a new event, please reach out to your Executive Council Regional Director (listed in the Contact Us link at the bottom of this home page), or send me (Jim Luby) an email with your event location and I will get your email to the correct Executive Council Regional Director.
Let's update our Member Profile Page/Bio for 2026
We want to see some smiling faces or your favorite vintage model, so we encourage you to provide a photo in your membership profile bio section. Some have provided their photo and others have provided their favorite vintage airplanes as their bio picture.
Just log in to our site, then click on the MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY MENU tab towards the top of the Home Page. List your last name in the Search Text Box and click search to open your bio page. Once open, you can click on the round bio blank template photo and change your picture! Here you can also add a Banner photo that fellow members can see when they click on your profile page.
Finally, you can also add some information to your biography at the bottom of this page (for example: how long have you been in the hobby, favorite airplane, events that you attend, what are you building, etc.). When you are done, don't forget to hit SAVE at the bottom of the page.
2026 Theme Plane Designs
The 2026 Theme plane is ANY Dave Robelen design that qualifies as a vintage aircraft. NOTE: The 2026 Theme Plane is also an extension of the 2025 Pronto model by Dave Robelen. If you built a Pronto in 2025 (or earlier), it is again eligible for competition in 2026 - even if you won a Theme Plane award in 2025!
2026 Blast from the Past Aircraft
Any design by Lou Andrews is the 2026 Blast from the Past category. Some of Lou's aircraft include: Aeromaster, Sportmaster, Trainermaster, H-Ray, S-Ray, etc.
